San Jose del Cabo

In the heart of San Jose del Cabo is the spacious Plaza Mijares, where numerous art galleries and fine dining choices are located within walking distance. The colorful town with its colonial architecture is quiet and peaceful in contrast to its neighbor Cabo San Lucas. Somehow, despite the growing population of gringos - as elsewhere in Baja - flocking to enjoy nearby beaches, sportfishing, horse back riding, and golf courses the town remains charming, and the locals friendly.

What's not to LOVE about this place?

So, you may think the real reason we visited and loved San Jose del Cabo was because of the French Bakery....but actually, as much as we did enjoy the lovely baked goodies, Darrell was largely motivated to get a haircut! That's right, he saved up his pesos and got himself a $5.00 clip! (not including the tip) He was one happy camper.

Feeling civilized again!
