Feliz Navidad from La Paz

Decorating Yummies at Galeria-Galeria

In La Paz (City of Peace) Christmas is all about the children. Christmas trees, colored lights, carols, Santa hats, and Nativity scenes show up dramatically just a few days before the 25th. This way the excitement of the season seems to explode all at once, making Christmas all the more magical. There is lots of shopping and all kinds of street carts  selling toys and Santa hats. Plenty of hustle bustle all around town.

And of course, there are plenty of Christmas trees and lots of palm trees with tiny white twinkle lights everywhere (my favorite).
